The Vietnam War was the war in which the United States deployed the largest number of soldiers since the Second World War. It has a far-reaching impact on the world. Compared with the Vietnamese people who faced the entire nation’s life and death, limited by the balance of global strategy and the injustice of this war, the United States can neither put unlimited investment in the battlefield in Vietnam nor can it conduct full-scale mobilization in the country. This makes the psychology of the US military soldiers participating in the war on the Vietnam battlefield even more complicated. They must face the real threat on the cruel battlefield and bear the social condemnation of the domestic anti-war forces. This paper focuses on psychology analysis of the behavior of US military soldiers on the battlefield in Vietnam.
